Using Blood Root Paste for Natural Mole Removal

Have you noticed people with large moles on their faces and wondered why they never did anything about them? After all, some of them can be very unattractive. Maybe you have some of your own that, while not being eyesores, you’d just as soon not have blemishing your skin. All moles consist of are clusters of skin cells that have too much pigment in them. Get enough of them together, and they can start looking unsightly. So what options are there for removing them? There are surgical procedures you can have performed, including laser surgery, but if you’d rather get rid of moles without surgery, you can opt for natural mole removal.

There are numerous creams and lotions on the market that all say they’ll rid your body of moles in just a couple of applications. Most of these preparations resort back to the time-honored mole removal medication, the herb bloodroot. This herb grows in the woodlands of the United States and Canada. Blended into a paste, our ancestors used it for generations to eliminate moles. Native American Medicine Men historically made great use of bloodroot for medicinal purposes. The Native Americans also used the plant as a base for war paint and the roots to make dyes for clothing. It can also be used as a wood stain.

You can buy commercially-prepared bloodroot paste creams, but you will find they’re going to be quite expensive. A small jar can cost as much as $90, and none of these creams come with any guarantees that they’re really going to give you the natural mole removal you’re looking for. In fact, none of them have been tested for safety and approved by the Food and Drug Administration since they aren’t really considered medications.

As was mentioned earlier, bloodroot is a plant that grows in the northern United States and Canada. If you have this plant locally, you can make your own bloodroot paste and save yourself a lot of money, but please keep in mind that this plant is an endangered species. A better alternative to this is to buy live plants online so that you can grow your own supply. The plants can be purchased in the spring for around $6 each plus shipping, and they’ll grow anywhere in the eastern 2/3 of the United States.

If you plan to use bloodroot for natural wart removal, be sure you use the product sparingly. It is a very potent substance that is absorbed into the bloodstream very quickly. People have reported feeling nausea from just a small application. Any bloodroot paste needs to be applied lightly to the mole with a toothpick and then covered. Within 6 hours you should feel a tingling in the area telling you that the paste is working. After 24 hours, remove the bandage, swab the area with peroxide, and then reapply the paste and the dressing. You may actually need several applications before the mole turns pale and falls off.

Bloodroot pastes are said to be effective 80% of the time. If you have a mole that you think could be pre-cancerous, never treat it with anything before you consult with your doctor. Otherwise, you can try doing natural mole removal with bloodroot paste.
